The Port of Oakland’s role is to provide the new digital infrastructure for the new technologies to support our users and improve efficiency and sustainability across all parties.”

QuayChain’s CEO, Andrew Scott, a long-time leader in the freight industry, commented:

“QuayChain is proud to be partnering with the Port of Oakland and its forward-thinking leadership in providing digital events and data to all users of this vital West Coast gateway. We look forward to announcing the first pilot companies from major importers, exporters, forwarding, chassis, and trucking communities in the coming weeks.

QuayChain solutions give users the independently verified data in real time they have been looking for. The quality of data is critical to make good decisions.”

Brandes added:

“We believe the data from QuayChain will be at the core of the Port of Oakland new portal and reporting to the community. The movement of containers, chassis, and trucks across the Port will give us new insights that no other Port in the US or the world has, continuing Oakland’s leadership role in Port innovation and sustainable technology.””
